About Us
The Rose and Crown Hotel in the New Forest is a superb example of a traditional forest inn, set in a pretty cottage garden. Dating back to the 13th century, the welcome it offers visitors to the New Forest is as warm now as it has been through the centuries. Hotel accommodation consists of 14 newly refurbished en-suite bedrooms, some of which are delightfully located in a converted stable block. The hotel also offers a function room which can cater for up to 20 people. The pub has an attractive and extensive beer garden area that allows al fresco dining in its truest sense. The hot pub food served is renowned for its quality and taste, whether it’s a carvery, a traditional meal or a bar snack. All meals can be complemented with a selection of cask ales and excellent wines. Room rates include our fantastic free breakfast.
